Psychology of Being by Abraham Maslow (purchased at the library's
used book sale)
Reading (definitely pulp): Nothing.

night.

Wow. It's been a while since I've written.
Wish I could say that there's been something going on.
Not that it's been quite around here.
A few weeks ago D and Fergus
got married. It was over at the Decatur House (which is gorgeous), D
looked amazing (no surprise), the bridesmaids dresses were great (comfortable
and as flattering at the end of the night as they were at the beginning),
it was wonderful to see some High School friends that were there, I
drank enough to actually do partner dancing with TB (but stayed sober
enough to take part in the million little bridesmaid-sy duties that
cropped up during the evening).
But of course the highlight of the
evening was watching just how happy D and Fergus are together (she started
getting teary before she even went downstairs from the Bridal Room),
and how perfect they are for each other (when D joined Fergus in the
Mick Jagger Chicken Dance it was clear that they really couldn't be
with anyone else).
Other festivities? Fabian's birthday.
MJ's graduation. It's been a grand celebratory month.
And, in the scope of my life, best
of all? I finally got a permanent position at the Library. I've really
loved my work there so its very very exciting to have a stable job there.
Otherwise? All this goodness and life
changing has made me start to think a little more seriously about where
I am, where I want to be. Will be turning the big 29 in a month. Can't
believe it.

Doing (life and related tasks): Been busy
at work, catching up with friends, hanging out with TB.
Doing (crafty stuff): Embroidering, though
I should catch up on my knitting.
Wanting: some thrills.
Anticipating: Keith,
Hug and Bug coming
down here to DC this weekend.
