Only have a few minutes to update.....

Am tackling this, in between checking how I look in my pants for the party tonight (okay - the burgundy paisley velvet pants fit fab but face it if I wasn't going to a party where fancy-pants were required I don't think I'd be wearing them), putting on makeup (some dark eyeliner is definitely required), worrying about my hair (will it dry on time?). Need to be leaving the house in about 20 minutes to meet up with Marie - we're going to church this evening before heading out to join Heather, SS the SS and her posse for dinner before the herd of us head out to Demmert and Darren's 4th Annual Women-Must-Wear-Leather-Pants Party. Anticipation's running high for the evening - was out last night with Mel and the girls and everyone seems to have some sort of plan for romance or something resembling it. As for me, I'm just hoping that my saucy velvet slacks are good enough for this tough crowd.
