Went out recently with a guy who's Greek. He's cute and like me has olive skin, dark hair, and dark eyes - we both have that indeterminate Mediterranean/Indian/Middle-Eastern ethnic background look.

The funny part of the whole thing? He told me that I'm exotic looking. Last time I was in Greece I was taken for Greek everywhere so this guy is related to an entire country of people who I resemble. He undoubtedly has sisters or cousins or friends who look like me and he still called me exotic.

I was and still am a little taken aback. Its not that I'm not used to being called that, I've heard it countless times. Just never from someone who looks so similar to me. Strange....

Doing (life and related tasks): Just got back from a long weekend in NM for Hug's college graduation - she's amazing amazing.

Doing (crafty/moving stuff): Trying to arrange a SnB next month with Demmert et al / Aiming to run a total of 12 miles this week.

Wanting: Someone to unpack my duffel. I hate sorting that last bit of things in the bottom of the bag.

Anticipating: The long discussed Bridesmaids Bar Crawl is finally happening. Now I just need to choose the particular powder blue dresses I want to wear.
