Listening: the hum of the window unit air
conditioner.
Reading (perhaps quality): Still reading
Goffman. It's slow going but good.
Reading (definitely pulp): Nothing right
now, trying to concentrate on finishing Goffman and I know if I have
something easy to read instead I'll stray.
Drinking: clear cold water.

Am strangely exhausted. As soon as
the cable guy left I took a nap for a couple of hours, slept hard so
that getting up (I knew I had to get up or not be able to sleep tonight)
was like dragging myself up from a molasses slick. Not that I've ever
spent time in one, but I can imagine.
Other than that? Honestly I'm exhausted from writing the sidebar content,
and my head's still shaken loose from the excitement of getting internet
access. So it's off to sleep for me (and something more exciting tomorrow)....

Doing (life and related tasks): Cable guy
came today so I have internet connectivity and clear tv reception. Hurrah!
At work I finally put the intranet org chart into stylesheets and made
it html 4.01 compliant (it was version 3.2). Now to actually update
the text...
Doing (crafty stuff): Still basking in
the glow of finishing the scarf for Sarah.
Wanting: The corcoran just posted their
fall schedule of classes and I'm dying to take one in graphic design.
And Talullah and I have been taking up guitar. And then there's the
pile of books on the floor (I need a bookcase), TV on a chair (an entertainment
center would be nice), computer on the dining room table and papers
in a box (a desk would be convenient)
Anticipating: Picking up my dress and shoes
for the wedding next week.
