Listening: Five on the Five by The
Raconteurs (right now)
Reading (perhaps quality): Slogging through
1776 by David McCullough.
Reading (definitely pulp): Nothing right
now.
Drinking: Coffee, of course.

Happy election day!
So word is that the polls
are in our favor but as a lifelong Democrat I'm unable to believe in
my party's ability to pull a victory off. 10 point leads? Talk of an
electoral landslide? I'll believe it when the election is called.
Voting was super easy.
Last Saturday I saw hundreds of people in line for early voting, and
all day at work folks told me I was a lun-a-tic to vote after work that
however insane the lines were in the morning they'd be worse at the
end of the day. But it was a breeze - left work at 4:30, got to the
polls (a new one since the move, right in the center of Clarendon rather
than in Lyon Park) at 5 and walked right in. I was in and out of the
room within 5 minutes. Got my free cup of coffee at Starbucks and headed
home. It was crazy!

Am off to an election
watching party over at Cristin's. Cross fingers for our man!

Doing (life and related tasks): Enjoying
relaxing around the joint.
Doing (crafty stuff): Have continued remaining
anything but craft-tas-tic lately.
Wanting: I'm not even sure anymore.
Anticipating: A victory tonight!
